Charity joined Dismas in 2025 with a diverse professional and educational background, including the New England Culinary Institute, Green Mountain College, and Community College of Vermont. She holds multiple degrees, certificates, and credentials. "Continuing my education has always been important to me because I believe there is always an opportunity to learn, grow, and better understand how I can support others. My current studies in behavioral science are especially meaningful to me as I continue building my career in this field and developing the knowledge and skills needed to help individuals overcome challenges and work toward their goals."
Charity brings compassion, optimism, and understanding to the Women's Dismas House, qualities essential to supporting residents through difficult times. She strongly believes in second chances and that, with the right guidance, encouragement, and support, Dismas can make a positive impact on each and every resident.
She brings personal experience and a deep understanding of the challenges associated with substance use disorder and incarceration. Watching family members struggle with these issues has given her a personal perspective on the importance of meaningful support. She aims to help individuals recognize their potential, build confidence, and create a more positive path forward.
