Heather brings years of experience in human services, including case management, housing and homelessness services, crisis intervention, peer support, and community-based programming. Throughout her career, she has worked with individuals and families facing complex barriers, including housing instability, mental health and substance use challenges, involvement with community systems, and major life transitions. Her educational background is in human services and she joined Dismas in 2026.
"My approach has always been centered on meeting people where they are and recognizing that everyone's path looks different. I believe in balancing compassion with accountability and helping people identify their own goals, strengths, and next steps, rather than defining success for them. I was drawn to Dismas because of its emphasis on community, relationships, and creating an environment where people can move forward while being treated with dignity and respect."
