Jim is an experienced executive director; since his hire in 2020, he has reestablished a positive working relationship with the Vermont Department of Corrections, increased funding from the State of Vermont, led trauma-informed programmatic changes to meet the current needs of the post-incarceration population, streamlined the financial management of the organization, developed a five-year strategic plan with input from a community needs assessment, developed new fundraising initiatives to reactivate lapsed donors, and delivered four clean and efficient audits of financials with no deficiencies. Previous to Dismas of Vermont, Jim served as the executive director of United Way of Lamoille County. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
