Tom Grillo brings 20 years of dedicated experience to the field of alcohol and substance misuse support. His career spans direct client care in residential treatment programs to high-level administration, having previously served as a Program Manager for the Impaired Driver Program in New Hampshire. Alongside his professional roles, Tom has spent the past two decades volunteering as a mentor in the recovery community, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to sustainable, long-term healing.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the College of St. Joseph in Vermont and a Nonprofit Management Certificate from CommonGood Vermont. A graduate of Vital Communities' Leadership Upper Valley class of 2024, he blends administrative leadership with specialized trauma-informed credentials, including a CCAR Recovery Coach Certificate and a Mental Health First Aid certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
